Configuring Cameras in a Trimodal Room

How to configure cameras in a Trimodal Room

Trimodal rooms typically will have 3 cameras available to the Zoom application in the touch panel.

  1. The Instructor Camera, located near the back of the classroom (this is the default option).
  2. The Classroom Camera, located above the whiteboard (this camera shows the students in the classroom).
  3. The Kaptivo Whiteboard (this camera displays the contents of the whiteboard in rooms equipped with Kaptivo systems)

If you want to change which camera is being used for the Zoom meeting, or enable additional cameras being shared to the meeting

To change the main camera being shared to the meeting, select one of the listed options and the camera being currently being shared will have a checkmark next to it.

To use multiple cameras, use the toggle button in the "Multi-Camera Mode" section to enable or disable additional cameras within the meeting.

Note: Remote students will only see the Kaptivo camera when it is selected either as a content or camera source and when the camera has been activated by pressing the camera button on the panel mounted on the front wall next to the whiteboard.
