How to configure displays in a touch panel room

 

To configure the displays in the classroom. press the 'View' button on the Zoom meeting control screen.

Once the view button has been selected, the displays will identify themselves with a 1 or a 2 appearing in the top left corner. 

If you wish to have all displays mirror the IPC content, select the "Show content only" toggle button.

To configure what each display is showing, select the card with the appropriate display number. This will display a menu with all options available for the corresponding display.

 

Please Note: not all displays will have the same options, and may change depending on what is being shown on the other display

Here is a brief description of each of the available views: 

 

Speaker: The current person speaking except for yourself. Switches to different people as they start and stop speaking. 

 

Thumbnail: Shows the person speaking in a large window and small thumbnails of other participants above. 

 

Gallery: Shows a thumbnail of all participants 

 

Multi-Speaker: Shows the two most recent speakers in large feeds and all other participants in thumbnail. 

 

Self View: The current main camera that is selected. 

 

Shared Content: The screen of the computer currently being shared.  This will be the instructing computer or a laptop if one is connected. If more than one participant is sharing content, you can select which content you would like to display.

Sharing a laptop display

If you wish to share your laptop content to the Zoom meeting and the room, first ensure your laptop is connected to the HDMI cable on the desk.

From the Zoom meeting controls press the pill button at the top of the screen and press the home button. 

Under Select a Source to present, press Instructor HDMI to display your laptop screen to the room and Zoom Meeting

To re-enter the Zoom application, press the Zoom button on the same page.
