How to View the Electronic Whiteboard on Another Computer During a Lecture -

The purpose of this article is to explain the steps necessary to view the electronic whiteboard in a COL room on either the Instructor's Computer or another computer in the classroom.

Introduction

The DePaul MyWhiteboard system is a feature offered to CDM classes at the University, available in all rooms that are equipped with the COL Recording System. This service allows you to access a live feed of the classroom's electronic whiteboard, as well as the feed of the room's projector.

Preparation

Please note that security policies are in place to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing or viewing the MyWhiteboard system.

You must meet these requirements to use the system:

1. Be on the University wireless or wired network.

2. Log in with your DePaul BlueKey account

3. Use the system only during scheduled lecture times. Availability at other times is limited.

Accessing the System

To access the MyWhiteboard system, go to mywhiteboard.cdm.depaul.edu, and log in if prompted. You will see a feed of a whiteboard in the center of the screen. Controls are located at the top of the screen.
