Blue Demon Card: Online Photo Submissions


A new fast and convenient online photo submission process is available for students, active staff, and active faculty. See instructions and guidelines below.

How to Submit a Photo

  1. Go to the DePaul Online Photo Submission and enter your BlueKey username and password. Your BlueKey username is your @depaul.edu email address. Your BlueKey password is the same as your Campus Connect password.  If that doesn't work, please visit https://go.depaul.edu/passwordreset  or call our Help Desk at 312.362.8765 for a password reset.
  2. Click on the Profile tab and then the "Click to submit a new photo" link.
  3. Before you are able to submit your photo, you must accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. After accepting the terms and conditions, follow the instructions to upload and submit your photo online.
  5. You will be required to upload a copy of one of the following:

Blue Demon Card Services will email you with approval or next steps if your photo cannot be used.

Once your photo is submitted and approved, you cannot submit another photo. If you would like a new photo on your Blue Demon Card please visit one of our offices to have a photo taken and pay the replacement fee.

Photo Guidelines

Approved

Denied
  • Current color photo in .jpg format
  • Blurry or Black and White Photos
  • White or neutral color and solid background required
  • Other visible people, pets, scenic background, or objects in the photo
  • Centered and front view of full face
  • No hats, sunglasses, or other items that obscure the face
  • Cropped from just above the top of the head down to the collarbone
  • No top of head cropped off or side angle of the face
  • Proper lighting and camera flash ON
  • Inappropriate expressions or hand gestures
  • Eyes open and visible
  • Glare on glasses; closed or red eyes
  • Wear prescription glasses if you normally do so
  • Do not use 'live' mode or any filters (i.e. Snapchat)
  • Head coverings are allowed if you wear them daily for religious purposes
  • Copyrighted images/photos
  • Full face must be visible
  • Covering cannot obscure hairline or cast shadows on the face
