CDMLinux Access Guide

For certain classes, you might need access to the Linux Environment remotely to complete an assignment.

Before continuing, you will need an SSH Client. There are many that exist, but we recommend PuTTY, which can be downloaded from the following link: https://www.putty.org/

Please follow the steps below:

1. Connect via SSH to: cdmlinux.cdm.depaul.edu
2. Enter your BlueKey username and password. (The same used for D2L and Campus Connect)
3. If you have access, and if your credentials are correct, you should now be able to use the Linux environment.

If you are encountering authentication issues, make sure you do NOT put "DPU\" in front of your Campus Connect username. It should just be your username.
