D2L Is Acting Weird, What Should I Do?


If D2L is acting oddly for you (e.g., pages not loading as they should), here are the first troubleshooting steps you should take:

  1. First, make sure you are using the latest version of your browser. Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are our recommended browsers. We do not recommend using Safari with D2L.
  2. Next, try accessing D2L in a different browser. If it works fine, then there may be a cache issue with the other browser. We recommend clearing the cache or deleting and re-downloading it. 
    1. If the issue persists, try accessing D2L in an incognito tab or window, which disables browser add-ons. If it works fine, then we recommend disabling your add-ons. Once disabled, turn on each add-on, one by one, to determine which add-on is causing the issue.
