Fix Slowness When Connected to PulseSecure VPN


There is occasionally an issue with the network settings on some computers when running the Pulse VPN. Below are the steps to correct the issue.

  1. Open Control Panel and select Network and Internet than Network and Sharing Center, then select Change Adapter settings.
    1. Alternatively, from a DOS command prompt, you can run the command: ncpa.cpl
    2. Also alternatively, from the Start Menu, type "Run" and in the box that appears, enter the command: ncpa.cpl
  2. Locate the physical adapter (wireless if using wireless, or wired if using wired) in the Network Connections.
  3. Right-click on the adapter and select Properties.
  4. From the list, uncheck the checkbox for Juniper Network Service and click OK.

  1. Connect to the VPN with the desktop client.
  2. From the Network Connections, select Pulse Secure virtual adapter.

  2. From the list, uncheck the checkbox for Juniper Network Service and click OK.
