Use Question Pools & Randomization
- Create large question banks and have D2L randomly select different questions for each student.
- Enable the "Randomize answer order" option when creating questions to prevent students from sharing correct answers.
Used Timed & One-Question-at-a-Time Exams
- Set a reasonable time limit to discourage students from looking up answers (e.g., 30–60 seconds per multiple-choice question).
- Display one question per page to make it harder for students to copy or share answers.
Availability Settings
- Use availability dates to restrict access to a specific timeframe.
- Enable the synchronous quiz option so all students must start and finish the exam at the same time.
