This article explains how to use the wireless share option in Classroom Operations trimodal rooms equipped with a Q-SYS touch panel.

 

To use wireless sharing:

1. Ensure the Q-SYS Touch Panel is On
   Press the power button in the center of the screen if the touch panel has not been turned on 
   
   
2.  Navigate to Wireless Sharing
   Select “Wireless Share” from the available content inputs. You may also select this option from the list of sharing options while the room is in Zoom mode 
   
    
   
3. Connect Your Device
   Follow the instructions corresponding to your device to connect or navigate to the IP address in the upper-left section of the Wireless Sharing menu. Instructions on connecting will be found for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Chromecast devices, or those using the vSolution App. Connections steps will vary, and any connection codes will be displayed in a drop-down notification on the classroom display.
   
    

 

Important: Many frequent connections may result in the connection queue filling up and therefore denial of future connections. If this occurs, please contact Classroom Operations using the Microsoft Teams phone in every classroom.
