Microsoft Copilot for Edge and Copilot Chat are a suite of AI-powered tools that can help campus members improve their productivity and efficiency. Copilot offers data and user protection while providing free access to OpenAI models (ChatGPT) and Anthropic Claude (requires a Premium license) through Copilot Chat and Copilot for Edge.
Getting Started
To use Copilot for Edge you can click on the Copilot button in the upper right hand corner:
To use Copilot Chat open the M365 App locally on your PC or open a browser and go to https://copilot.microsoft.com
If you are not automatically logged in please make sure to log in using your BlueKey ID and you should see a green Protected shield icon.
General Information
- If you are logged in with your BlueKey credentials, your chat history is saved
- Prompts and responses are not retained
- Copilot replies or responses are not always accurate. Be aware of the possibility of incorrect information.
- Do not prompt Copilot with any classified information. If you have any questions please contact security@depaul.edu
