Before you begin, be sure you have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your phone and set up your DePaul MFA in it. To register for MFA, please visit this article.

Please consult the documentation for your particular password manager for setting up a passkey; general instructions can be seen below. DePaul does not recommend any specific password manager, nor does DePaul provide setup support for setting up passkeys on a password manager.

1. Log into your password manager's website.
2. Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
3. Click to add a sign-in method.
4. Select the passkey methodology.
5. At this point, likely your password manager will pop up a window to ask you to add a passkey.
6. Follow the onscreen verification prompts.
