Tableau Groups are used to provide subsets of individuals with like access to Tableau reports (workbooks or views) published to DePaul's Tableau Server

Types of Tableau Group Users

• A Tableau owner (Creator) wanting to make member additions or changes to existing Tableau groups or add a new group must complete a Tableau request with a list of (Campus Connect) user ids and the desired group actions.
• A Tableau report consumer (Explorer) may request report access via a workbook creator/owner. IF the owner is unknown, complete a Tableau request , select the Other option, and specify the workbook(s) under Other information or details. The report owner and tabadmin will work together to approve and provide the necessary group access.
