Tableau Projects are descriptive categorized folders (i.e. a department name) which contain Tableau resources, including dashboards, workbooks, views, and data sources. Tableau Desktop licensed content owners (Creators) may publish their shared content to a project on DePaul's Tableau Server, to which they have been provided publishing access. Tableau content owners may request a new project folder submitting a request here to TabAdmin. This request will be reviewed according to publishing guidelines and the policy regarding Access to and Responsible Use of Data. TabAdmin will provide individual or group access to a project upon the owner's request, and the content creator/owner will need to set user or group access to the individual resources published. Optionally, access can be designated solely at the project level and inherited by the content within if access needs are exactly the same.
