U-Pass Requirements

Before you come to Distribution please read the following requirements for the U-Pass:

Starting Fall of 2025 DePaul University will move to an opt-in U-Pass system. This change ensures that only students who choose to use the U-Pass will be charged the associated fee. The U-Pass fee for Undergraduate and Graduate students is $108 for the Fall, Winter and Spring terms and $89 for the Summer term. The U-Pass fee for Law Students is $171 for the Fall and Spring terms and $71 for the Summer term. 

Key Details:

• Eligibility: Students enrolled in at least 4 credit hours are eligible to receive a U-Pass. This change now expands access to part-time students.
• How to Enroll: All students—both new and returning—must complete the U-Pass opt-in form each term they wish to participate in the program.
• Enrollment Requirement: Students who are not enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours by the last day to drop classes for the term will have their U-Pass deactivated and the fee will be refunded to their student account.

This updated process simplifies U-Pass distribution, eliminates unnecessary charges, and increases accessibility for more students.

U-Pass Distribution - Loop Campus

Loop Campus U-Pass distribution is going to be on the Concourse Level of the DePaul Center on September 9th from 10 am to 5 pm,  10th from 10 am to 6 pm, and 11th from 10 am to 5 pm. This will be for students in the following colleges:

• Driehaus College of Business
• College of Communication
• Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media
• School of Continuing and Professional Studies

 

U-Pass Distribution - Lincoln Park Campus

Lincoln Park Campus U-Pass Distribution will be at the Student Center rooms 314 A & B on September 9rd from 10 am to 5 pm,  10th from 10 am to 6 pm, and 11th from 10 am to 5 pm. This will be for freshmen in Discover classes and the following colleges:

• College of Education
• College Liberal Arts & Social Sciences
• College of Science and Health
• School of Music
• The Theatre School

If you cannot make it during distribution to pick up your U-Pass, it will be available at the ID Services Office where your major is located, hours and location information can be found HERE. Freshmen enrolled in Discover courses will pick up their U-Passes at the Lincoln Park ID services offices.
