The Security or Host Tools Menu has all of the options related to securing and administering a meeting from the touch panel in the classroom.
Options Available in the Menu
Lock Meeting: This setting prevents people from joining the meeting, even if they have the correct Meeting ID and Password. This will NOT prevent the host from joining the meeting or prevent you from joining your own personal meeting room.
Enable Waiting Room: Enables/Disables the waiting room
Hide Profile Pictures: Hides profile pictures. If this setting is turned on, participants profile pictures will be replaced with their names.
Allow all Participants to:
Share Screen: Enables/Disables screen sharing for participants who are not the host or co-host
Chat With:
No One: Chat is disabled
Host and Co-Hosts: Messages will go directly to the hosts and co-hosts but not to other participants
Everyone: Messaged will be send to everyone in the meeting (host and co-host can still be sent messages directly)
Everyone and Anyone Directly: Messages are sent to everyone in the meeting. Participants can also send direct messages to anyone else in the meeting
Rename Themselves: Participants can change their name during the meeting
Unmute Themselves: Participants can unmute themselves during the meeting
Start Video: Participants are allowed to turn their cameras on
Annotate on Shared Content: Participants can draw on the screen. Their annotations are visible to everyone in the meeting

Share Whiteboards: Anyone in the meeting can start sharing a whiteboard
Who can Start sharing when someone else if sharing (Applicable to whiteboards only)
Host Only: Only the host can start sharing while there is a whiteboard on the display
All participants: Anyone can start sharing while there is a whiteboard on the display
Who can Initiate a new Whiteboard in the Meeting
Host Only: Only the host can share whiteboards
Internal Users: Anyone with a depaul.edu zoom account
All Participants: Anyone in the meeting
Record to Computer: All participants can start their own local recording of the meeting
Request to Record to Computer: All participants can request to start their own local recording of the meeting. A popup will appear on the touch panel that you can approve or deny
Request to Start Cloud Recording: All participants can request to start their own cloud recording of the meeting. A popup will appear on the touch panel that you can approve or deny
Remove participant: Displays a list of current participants with a remove button on the left. When clicked you have the option to remove, remove and report, or cancel
Suspend all Participant Activities: Suspending causes the following: Everyone will be muted, video and screen sharing will be stopped, breakout rooms will be closed, Zoom Apps will be disabled, and the meeting will be locked
