Card Readers accept DePaul ID Card swipes at doors, copiers and point-of-sale locations.

Card reader equipment is available for several purposes, including:

• Security readers for door access: Door readers allow the University to manage entry into restricted areas, as well as track entry information in high security areas.
• Copy readers: Card reader equipped photocopiers allow students, faculty and staff to apply funds linked to their cards for making photocopies. Photocopiers are managed by Document Services Ext. 2-6285.
• Point-of-sale readers: Point-of-sale readers allow students to purchase items at DePaul cafeterias and selected vendors around campus. These readers use funds stored on the student's Demon Express account and DePaul's Meal Plan for these purchases.
