Microsoft Teams: Host a Live Event

Microsoft Teams allows faculty and staff to host live events.

Teams live events enables you to produce events for online audiences with more control over video, audience interaction, and reporting.

To host a live event on Microsoft Teams, please look at the Microsoft Documentation:

  1. The organizer should Schedule a Teams live event
    • Live events include attendees as well as participants in 2 assignable roles: Producer and Presenter.  
    • Event group roles describe the scope and responsibilities of participants in these roles.
  2. How to Invite attendees to a Teams live event
  3. How to produce or present during a Teams live event
  4. Teams enables the management of the event recording as well as the creation of event reports
