BlueKey Self-Service Password Reset


Important: You must register for BlueKey multi-factor authentication before you can reset your own password. If you haven't registered for BlueKey multi-factor, you will need to contact the Help Desk to reset your password. View instructions to register for BlueKey multi-factor authentication here.


With your BlueKey login credentials (and BlueKey multi-factor authentication) DePaul students, faculty, and staff are able to reset their BlueKey password (formerly called Campus Connect password) without assistance from the Help Desk.



Go to office365.depaul.edu or go.depaul.edu/passwordreset. For this tutorial, we will visit office365.depaul.edu, enter our BlueM@il email address (username@depaul.edu), and select "Forgot my Password" on the next page. 

 


Select "Forgot my password" on this screen. Make sure to have your Microsoft Authenticator app available for this process (and the phone number and/or alternate email you provided when you registered for BlueKey multi-factor authentication).

 


Enter your User ID which is your BlueM@il email address (username@depaul.edu) and the characters that are displayed in the image.

 


Verification step 1. Verify your identity. You have a few different options to authenticate on this page. The first screen may or may not display an "alternate email" option depending on whether you set up that option.

 


Verification step 2. Use another one of the methods to confirm your identity. Again, this screen may or may not display an "alternate email" option depending on whether you set up that option.

 


Create a new password. Make sure it's a strong password. It must be a minimum of 12 characters. Your new password must also contain 3 out of 4 of the following:

You're all set! Congratulations you have just successfully reset your DePaul/BlueKey password.
