To view deleted posts, you must first modify your discussion settings. Follow these instructions to modify your settings:

1. Navigate to the Discussions area of your course.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
   
   
3. Under "Personal Settings," in "Display Settings," select the checkbox next to “Display deleted posts."
   
   
4. Select Save at the bottom of the page.

Once this setting is enabled, you will see deleted threads when accessing a discussion topic.
