Why Can't I See Navigation Buttons When Viewing D2L Content Items?


To view and use the navigation buttons in the Content area of a D2L course, “Show navigation in the Content viewer” must be selected within Content settings.

Here are the instructions on how to re-enable this setting:

  1. Navigate to the Content area of the course.
  2. Select the "Settings" gear icon.
  3. Select “Show navigation in the Content viewer.” 
  4. Select Save.
