Adobe: Quarterly Student Licensing Information


In order for Adobe Creative Cloud to be able to be used by a class section, the class must be identified in Campus Connect with the Class Attribute 'ADOB'. If the Adobe software is needed for a class, the faculty member of the course should request the course be granted access to Adobe via their college office or class scheduler. Note: If Adobe needs to be available for students every time this course is taught, the faculty member of the course must ask their college office/class scheduler to add the attribute to the course in the course catalog, which will ensure the attribute is added each time the class is scheduled.

An automated script is run each morning at 1:30AM to pull the classes that are flagged as requiring Adobe use, and appropriate licenses are assigned.  If the attribute is added to a class after the script runs at 1:30AM it will not have access to Adobe until the script is run again the following day.

The script is set to add the current academic term, as well as the next academic term 14 days prior to its start date.  When a new term begins, the term that just ended will retain Adobe access for a minimum of an additional 14 days into the new term. Additionally, the Autumn term students will retain their access to Adobe until the Winter session starts. Similarly, the Spring academic term will maintain access to Adobe until the Autumn term starts. Below is the list of dates that classes will change for the 2024-2025 academic year.
