Enabling Zoom Live Transcription and Captioning From a Touch Panel

Captioning and transcription is enabled and hidden by default. If the Zoom meeting is recorded, the transcription will be available in the "Recordings and Transcripts" tab of depaul.zoom.us

 

Displaying Captions:

To display live captions on the projector press More -> Captions -> Show Captions

   

Assigning a Manual Captioner:

If you have a captioner, you can assign them by pressing More -> Captions -> Enable Manual Captioner -> Assign Participant to Type CC

Then select the captioner from the list of meeting participants.

 

Displaying the Live Transcription on the Projector:

To show the transcript on the projector press More -> Captions -> Show Transcript Panel on TV

This will display the meetings transcript as it is generated on the right side of the display.

Viewing the Transcript from the Touch Panel:

To view the transcript on the touch panel press More -> Captions -> View Full Transcript
